Homework policy for elementary students
The following are guidelines only for times spent on homework. Different children will complete the same homework in times that vary hugely. Times will vary from day to day and also from the beginning to the end of the school year. It is important to remember that it is the quality not the quantity of homework that matters. The following are suggested average times for completion:
Homework provides an extension to our differentiated curriculum by offering students tailored tasks that either enrich or support their learning.
To equip the pupils, with the self-discipline needed to study on their own, and to prepare them for the increased demands of secondary school homework.

Homework also provides an opportunity for parents to participate in their children's education. Homework is designed to reinforce what students have already learned. 
Some homework requires students to access the internet. Students will also need an A4 colour printer at home, as they may be required to print completed homework. Students should ensure that they have sufficient plain white A4 paper and printer ink or toner.
